4. Orders & Payment Terms

4.1 Placing an Order

Adding an item to your cart is an invitation to offer. A contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including: product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or inability to ship to your location.

4.2 Pricing & Payment

Prices are in US Dollars (USD). We accept: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal.

You authorize us to charge the total amount (product price + shipping + applicable taxes) to your chosen payment method at the time of order placement.

Sales tax will be added where required by law.

4.3 Shipping & Delivery

We ship globally, excluding Asia and certain remote regions due to logistics.

• Processing: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation.
• Methods:
  • Standard Shipping ($12.95): Via DHL/FedEx. Estimated delivery 10-15 business days after shipment.
  • Free Shipping (Orders over $50): Via EMS. Estimated delivery 15-25 business days after shipment.
• Your Responsibility: You are responsible for providing a correct shipping address. Any additional duties, taxes, or customs fees for international orders are your responsibility.
• Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss/damage passes to you upon delivery.

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Our goal is your satisfaction. Our detailed Shipping & Returns Policy is part of these Terms. Key points:

• Return Window: 15 days from the date you receive your order.
• Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging with all tags and accessories.
• Process: Initiate by emailing [email protected] to receive an RMA number.
• Non-Returnable Items: For safety, hygiene, and customization reasons, the following are final sale unless defective:
  • Build A Bar Workshop components/final products.
  • Demo and Used Gear.
  • Closeout/Sale items marked “Final Sale.”
  • Opened Booties, Gloves, Vests, Harnesses (hygiene items).
  • Personalized/Customized products.
• Refunds: Issued to original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless we made an error.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site (logos, text, graphics, images, software) is our property or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. The Kite Boarding Shop name and logo are trademarks of our business.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kite Boarding Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or products, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of profits.

Our total liability for any claim related to your order shall not exceed the purchase price of the product(s) in question.

This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
